PS099 - Daniel Klag - Anticipation

 

A new collection of exceedingly gripping work from Klag.  A slight departure from 2016's "Devotional" : fluttering strings and tonal patterns and textures pass through melodic phrases to create uniquely focused and powerful compositions. Mildly operatic. Dense at times, with thick reams of chordal cluster, and at other moments feather light. Aptly titled compositions, balanced and considered, nestled into waiting.
