Danny Clay (collaborator with many including Kronos Quartet) lives in

San Francisco, Joseph Edward Yonker (solo work, as well as 1/3 of Willamette) lives in Olympia. For John Wayne Death Scene a tape was shuttled via mail and composed on 4-track tape machines. Two remarkably rich and atmospheric collaborative sound compositions. Dense ambient structures hover and vanish, melody swells and flows away, rusty twinkling music box. Bullet holes in the dust. Faded rustlers in shallow celluloid graves. The punch, the pistol, not the rustler.
